I’ve been noticing that as of beginning this 6th line transition in my bod, I’ve been using instagram less to “externalise,” and more to observe.
So when I came across one of Sami Rae’s highlights about the not self from about a week ago, I was really fascinated by what she was describing, and we had a little chat about it.
I said to her, “as I’ve hit 31 and am transitioning more into my body’s 6th line on the roof stage, I don’t care to externalise here [on instagram] anywhere near to the same extent that I used to, even a couple months ago. Like I keep it because of those times I do want to, when its feels like pure externalisation coming through and not so mind-y…
but what’s been surprising is I’m now actually using it more to observe people! Like in this 6th line bod way.”
Anyway, here’s her experience with the not-self; the difference between the profile in the personality versus the body; and generally what she sees:
“So… the personality-mind *is* the not-self until it’s de-conditioned into passenger… Right?
…And then we get the Life. The body’s life.
And I notice people push back about that —
Whatever, that’s just their mind which is, like, the point.
But I want to express what I see with this:
Which is that we’ve got our unconscious mind and we’ve got our conscious, right?
So everybody has both on their chart.
If you take away the conscious mind in this particular way of viewing things as the personality mind, the thing that is distorted, what you see is what’s consistent in the body, or whatever’s left in red —
If you take away the personality from the chart, and you just look at the design side, what you can see is where there is consistent energy in the body; and whether or not the person’s authority, or proclaimed definition…
If someone’s like, “I’m a pure individual”—
You take away the conscious, and you look at what’s there:
You have the body.
Which is who gets the Life in this life.
And, you can see, I mean, just as an aside —
If somebody is an emotional authority when you put the two together — the personality & the design — then you take away the personality, see that there’s no more emotional authority there;
You look for cognition as what’s consistent in terms of what the body informs, and that is something they can rely on, within the body.
They *still have an emotional authority*
But in terms of consistent body informing, they have their cognition as something [that’s more important] because emotional authority is not consistent in their body.
So it’s not saying they don’t have emotional authority. It’s not that.
But when it comes to authority, it’s the body that is doing it.
So if your mind is all distorted, and amplified and wrapped up in whatever it thinks it thinks, it’s not watching the body;
It’s caught up in thinking emotionally.
Just using this example, right —
It’s thinking emotionally.
Versus, being in the felt experience of the body.
I’m only talking about ego-mind distortion.
Because as soon as somebody is operating from the point of view of the witness within themselves, they get to see *how*— again, using this example of being emotional, HOW that emotional definition shows up in their life —
How it comes out as an outer authority for the other —
But when we have internalised distortion, externalised distortion, all wrapped up in the personality-mind, what we have is an ego-mind… w o r l d, right?
We have a world that is the mind trying to control by whatever strategies that are there.
And you can see that reflected through whatever definition is there at the mind-level and in our openness.
But when you really think about it, when you take away everything of the mind, all the black—-
You end up with the entire chart.
This is why I see it as — it doesn’t matter what definition someone has, if they have a defined ego or not, etc., literally it doesn’t matter what the definition *is,* because at the level of mind, which is what we’re talking about with this whole system, and de-conditioning —
At the level of mind, there is distortion- potential within all of us, that can sit where we have consistent energy, within our body, and can distort — so it’s like a layered-over, squawking over — of a natural frequency.
It can distort what is there for us. Or not.
It’s just the potential layer over everything that is us.
…. I just had this inner vision [cognition] of:
Our personality *is* what distorts over our body until we get it knocked into passenger.
