“… I don’t have to work anymore. And I don’t mean the job, it’s the life. It’s like, *Phew.* Yeah. I mean the not self… you think about the not self, for most human beings, once they get past the initial stages. Once they get past the point where the splenic system starts toning down so that their basic fears start to calm down, there’s a part of them that looks out and says, “Yeah, this isn’t so bad. Ohhhh, Jesus, this is actually quite good. You know I actually don’t feel like doing anything.” Because your hormones are changing. The endorphins are floating in, going, “Isn’t dying nice? Yeah, it’s quiet… Easy… and I can barely hear her bitching now, it’s kind of fading… It’s really getting a lot easier” and everyone around is saying, “Are you okay??”
And unfortunately, by that time, you’re not very expressive, and so they don’t quite get the fact that you’re enjoying yourself!
