It’s like you reach a certain thresh hold in self-honesty, and no longer can you con or contort yourself into a certain level of the not self. That rejection really is protection

… Whether consciously or not, people will sense our lies because they register at the soul level. And I think the effect is, they just won’t trust us. It’s as uncomfortable to be around as it is to live out. It’s the distinct discomfort that acting from our openness, or not self, feels like. (Just think about the undefined solar plexus smile that screams, “please do not confront me with the truth.”) Contorting ourselves into some false caricature of who we’re not doesn’t fool anyone anymore than it does ourselves

… how much is it programming that’s necessary, like a personal education, for our next stage in material transformation.
